Peppers from the Sweet Heat pepper plant are extremely rich in vitamin C compared to the average garden pepper. Mildly spicy, they are delicious raw or cooked, whether green or red. Picked very early, you have a wonderful balance of sweetness and spice.
Sweet Heat Dip
1 c. peppers
16 oz. cream cheese, softened
Blend the peppers into a relish (do not drain juice). Add cream cheese and mix with standard kitchen mixer. Serve with crackers, chips, on tortillas, or any way you like.
